UCR Graduate School of Education

Through the Teacher Education Program offered at UCR's Graduate School of Education, teacher candidates will experience a quality program that immerses them with classroom experiences. Teacher candidates from this esteemed program develop close working relationships and professional network systems with each other because they begin and complete the program with the same student cohort and student teaching supervisor.

Learn about the various teaching program options offered through UCR's Graduate School of Education.

  • With advanced planning, teacher candidates may begin student teaching through the Integrated Teaching Program, which allows teacher candidates to enter UCR Teacher Education Program in Spring Quarter rather than the traditional start of Fall Quarter.

  • The Internship Teaching are for candidates with extensive previous continuous teaching experience either as an instructional assistant, substitute, or emergency teacher in a public school or equivalent classroom setting.

  • The Masters in Education (M.Ed.) is a graduate degree program designed for those who wish to combine a multiple subject or single-subject teaching
