mathematics teaching. There are also competitive national and local scholarship awards specifically
designed to promote STEM majors to enter a career in science/mathematics teaching.

SMI Reimbursement Programs
SMI provides a variety of financial resources to promote its student participants it their endeavors to satisfy State teaching credential exams
(e.g. CBEST, CSET) and to expand their experiences in developing and implement classroom lessons.
